Our current stack for Halo Strx local LLM serving.
Runtime -Gufo
Model - unsloth’s qwen3.8 flash next q4_k_xl
Harness - Hermes 🪽
1300tok/s encode and 40tok/s decode on a model that beats deepseek v4.1 flash. We have arrived.
Gufo is a goated @FrameworkPuter dekstop LLM runtime.
my current setup is 2x threads with 160ctx each
600 avg encode, 30 decode.
single thread speeds push encode to around 1500tok/s and decode hits peaks of 75tok/s. (avg arond 45)
hermes feels snappy and smart.

This looks so good all together.
Legendary order.
Check this set @NousResearch
Got the FW Desktop finally set up with plates from @Forgework_ running #Omarchy and #hermesagent going to be a fun time.
Sorta stole the idea from Forgework but can't deny its pretty sexy.
Couch gaming and AI tinkering on the roads ahead.
Insane what this little @FrameworkPuter desktop computer can do.
W/ Qwen Flash-Next GSQ-RCO you can get near frontier level intelligence on your desk for an avg of 70watts power draw with enough vram left over to do some light gaming at the same time.
Mine runs 100% on battery and solar and is the server for my swarm of Hermes agents. The future is bright for local oss models.

Did you hear the news?! Imagine the shit we'll be able to do with shell now!
Incredibly excited to get to work with @outfoxxedd to really shape the future of Omarchy Shell.
We're hiring @outfoxxedd, the creator of Quickshell, as Head of Omarchy Shell! He’s joining the Omacom Foundation full time and becoming a member of Omarchy Core. omarchy.org/news/2026/09/oma…

Hermes now has first-class support in Omarchy, @DHH’s Arch-based agentic Linux distribution.
Install the desktop app from the AI menu, or make Hermes your default terminal agent. Your Omarchy theme sets the colors in the desktop app, the TUI and the CLI.

My two faves
Hermes Agent is now built into Omarchy.
what it means in practice: the desktop app installs from the AI menu like any other Omarchy app, or you make Hermes your default terminal agent, and it picks up your Omarchy theme, desktop app, TUI and CLI in the same colours.
one machine, one agent, every surface. a very natural home for it.
