Welcome to the journey, we’re happy to have you. 💪🏼🔥❤️
🔬 FOUNDRY NOTES · WEEK 25 · THE PATTERN 🧪
Three amino acids hidden inside collagen, and what one study saw them do.
🔬 WHAT IT IS
🔹 GHK-Cu: 100 mg
GHK is short for glycyl-histidyl-lysine: glycine, histidine and lysine, joined in that order. In one-letter code, G, H, K. It was first identified in human plasma in the 1970s.
GHK has an affinity for copper(II) ions, and the vial holds the copper-bound form, GHK-Cu. The lot on the shelf was tested in July 2026 by Freedom Diagnostics: 99.25% by HPLC, identity checked by mass spec.
🧪 THE MECHANISM
In 1988, a team in Reims added GHK-Cu to cultures of fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen, and measured how much collagen they produced.
Collagen output started to rise at picomolar levels, trillionths of a mole per liter, and peaked at one nanomolar. That is far too little to serve as raw material. It is the range a signal works in. Cell numbers did not change, so the same fibroblasts were each making more collagen.
📦 WHERE IT SITS
Type I collagen is built from three long chains twisted into a triple helix. One of them, the alpha-2 chain, carries the sequence glycine, histidine, lysine.
The 1988 authors suggested that proteases, the enzymes that cut proteins apart, might free the tripeptide where collagen is being broken down. If that holds, a piece of the old structure becomes a signal to the cells that build the new one. That step is a hypothesis, not a measurement.
Every batch, an outside lab. Not our own paperwork.
Three letters. Inside the chain.
The Heat Check 053 lands Saturday.

We’ve had an amazing week shipping tons of product to new customers.
Nice to meet everyone!
Our packing clerk isn’t so happy…
Our inbox has a real person behind it.

HPLC in gym terms:
Every molecule in the sample runs the same lane. Each one grips the column differently, so they cross the finish line at different times.
One big peak = a clean field.
A bunch of side peaks = uninvited guests.
That's what a purity number measures.
Gym etiquette power rankings, no appeals:
1. Re-rack your plates
2. Wipe the bench
3. No curls in the squat rack
4. Headphones in = do not disturb
5. Don't camp on a machine scrolling
What's missing?
Red flags, gym edition:
Spotter scrolling his phone mid-set.
Red flags, vendor edition:
Same report PDF for three different strengths.
New HCG batch just failed for sterility.
That guy is going in the trash immediately…
It’s like that sometimes in this game.
But taking care of our customers is our responsibility and priority! 💪🏼
