In series 1 of Bullseye, on the prize board, Jim would announce a funny ‘bad’ prize if it went in the wrong segment - “You’ve won DIY brain surgery” or “A trip to resurface the M6”. But nothing can prepare you for this gem #itwasadifferenttime

in opinion polls etc it's actually not that different to many other countries it's just that as soon as you say something transphobic here you immediately get given a newspaper column to write whatever hateful shit you want
genuine question for british oomfs, why the hell is the uk so transphobic? one of the most developed countries in the world should NOT be as transphobic as my r+30 state

We started in '73 as a New York Dolls inspired, crossdressing band. Literally women's clothing. My girlfriend (now wife) Suzette informed me, "You're not pretty. You're scary. You aren't wearing makeup, it's war paint." She started making clothes for the band that were more tattered. Someone called me "Raggedy Ann on acid." Seems about right.
I thought the whole TS "look" was to parody glam metal while keeping the music true to the genre. I could be wrong

Getting blown up by a Russian drone to protect my beautiful nation of privatised water companies, boarded up shops, cracked paving, and political-media class who think I’m a racist because I oppose a genocide. No thanks mate.

I don’t care, if speaking out against nanny state censorship makes me sound like a turbo-pervert then it’s a small price to pay.
i do think it's concerning that the government is seeking to legislate against consenting adults viewing film of consenting adults engaging in legal activity. but the problem is saying that makes you sound like a turbo-pervert

I actually hate astrology discourse because you do always feel like you’re kicking ten million puppies when you tell people that it’s not real and on top of that people love to lay the gender guilt trip on you about it too. mind you it was developed by fucking men lol.

I’m not that fussed about regulating the content of pornography in principle but this is dangerously absurd We cannot be jailing people for 3 years for possessing sexualised images where people are *pretending* to be step siblings?! Can MP’s please get a fucking grip?

Sick of seeing these idiotic posts. Yes trains are expensive, but this post is purely just for engagement. Obviously the prices are going to be higher if you’re looking the day before and without a rail card 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve had returns to Newcastle from Ipswich for about £70

It’s helpful to see where the only red lines in British politics actually are. There are parties with councillors who want to establish concentration camps for migrants and machine-gun helpless refugees in the open seas, but this is what Labour considers beyond the pale.
🚨 NEW: Labour says all council power-sharing agreements with the Green Party will end unless their local groups condemn the “Zionism is racism” motion

Imagine being this old and online and not knowing that heavy metal has always been political, from the bloody moment it was born in a Birmingham factory. Fuckin rube.
If even heavy metal needs to be political, what’s next - porn? The site names would write themselves
