Interesting development due to Corona-Virus outbreak. If this teaches us how to do connected research (& assessments) without the need for CO2-intensive travel, this would be at least one positive outcome. Digital connection is one factor that can help low-CO2 transition.
The next IPCC WG3 Lead Author Meeting (LAM3) in April will now be a virtual meeting due to #coronavirus. It will be the first virtual major IPCC meeting ever (~300ppl).
I think this is the right decision and will have important repercussions. (thread)
