Their culture says dying on your own land is better than living under someone else’s rules. The other side doesn’t have that. Princes fly to London and Geneva. Their soldiers get paid. Western armies sit in air-conditioned bases then go home and argue about other things. Their elites worry about money and old files. Look at the videos. Thousands of men walking through the dust with rifles. No fancy gear. No press people. Just numbers and the feeling that this land is theirs.
