Instrument Rated! I flew the test today with steam gauges and no autopilot - and got several real world hold orbits for landing jet traffic :P. Hand flying that was challenging! Too tired to share more details now - but thanks to everyone who helped with this journey!

Advice to new-ish pilots: Learn your 🧭 directions really well. Visualize southwest on a map, and ask which direction you’d be going if you turned right 45 degrees from a SW heading. It sounds silly, but I hear a lot of pilots on the radio getting this wrong.
