A rare #FlashDogs post.
10 years is remarkable.
The origins of #vss365 came from @FlashFridayFic and the incredible weekly flash fiction community that were keen to keep writing.
Praise always to RP, for her selfless belief in creativity and the power of community.
Happy 10th Anniversary 🎉

A small joy I've savoured each night this week so far and will continue until I'm done is reading one or two of your @FlashDogs #FDEquinox stories - sometimes several times. Knowing the writer - echoes of their styles in my mind - ah, it's a great trip. I don't envy our judges.
Thank you to everyone that posted stories. We will shortly be sending the stories for judging (minus identifiers).
We're estimating 7th Oct for return of judging results. And we'll upload them shortly after.

But most of all - all those people who call themselves #flashdogs and writers - we did this for you. You're always a light in the darkness. You've always got a story to occupy our minds and capture our thoughts. Keep writing.
And a big thank you to @EjsPilates who made the #FlashDogs anthologies professional, beautiful, and magical publications to be extremely proud of.
Delighted to have her back in FDHQ.
This is what is all about. Great story ,Tam. 🔥
Thanks for your service @tamrogers
#FDEquinox has a beautiful home all because of your dedication and vision.
There's still a few hours left to get your entries into the @FlashDogs Equinox flash fiction challenge. As I've been in FDHQ I'm not officially entering, but couldn't help but want to tackle the prompt so here's my take on it #FDEquinox

Happy #Equinox
Last day to submit to the competition!
Stories (minus personal info) will then be sent to awesome judges @postupak and @juniperfoy
Please allow them a few weeks to read before we announce winners.
Thanks for the words, the stories, comments, likes and RTs 🙏
Lovely reading the entries coming in over at the @FlashDogs Equinox flash fiction challenge. Great takes on the prompt, and you've still got until tomorrow night to get those words in flashdogswriting.wordpress.c… #flashfiction #flashdogs
Don't be put off by the 'long' word count limit for #FDEquinox
40-50 word stories can be as powerful as 250 (as we know from #vss365)
Time is ticking to join in.

The funny thing about time is that it's there, then gone.
As a writer, you will never feel exactly the same as you do right now. Miss it and the moment is gone.
Harness that power into incredible #FlashFiction
