Can I just say, from the bottom of my heart, that the storytellers and poets of #vss365 amaze me every single day. If you ever feel like your writing is not appreciated, it is. It is.

‘No, listen to me.’ Chester stops when he realises he’s grabbed Kieran’s lapels in a reversal of a scene earlier. ‘This, all of it,’ he says, releasing his grip and motioning to the room. ‘This hour is not new. It’s happened at least twice before.’

All those suckers that fell into the trap were ill-prepared. They got in too deep. They trusted the shady crypto-bros. Not Kieran. He’d done his research. Had an exit plan. His zero-hour contract meant he couldn’t go to the bank to borrow the money.

His mate, Gary, from work, knew a guy who knew a girl who knew ‘someone’. Two grand wasn’t much, but it was a start. He made the money back, and more, within two weeks. Double down. Expand. Every millionaire builds steps that turn to #miles #vss365

#vss365 The mausoleum doors sealed forever. His eternal #commitment was to watch over her asleep in stone, as generations turned to dust outside. Sitting in total darkness, a living shadow fed by love—forgotten by death, slowly forgetting his own name.

The next winter solstice is 21 December. Would anybody be up for an old school #Flashdogs #FlashFiction thing? I'm thinking Solstice Darker. #SolsticeDarker
