YouTube should give YPP creators a formal warning and a minimum seven-day period to ensure they have a chance to fix their channels BEFORE demonetization.

Joined September 2014
YouTube accepting creators into the YPP means they are deemed eligible for YPP. As long as they don't radically change direction/style of their content, removing them from YPP without warning and seizing their current month's earnings is extremely unethical and should be illegal.

Hi @TeamYouTube 308 days of demonetization. 48 days ignored since my appeal. I am completely mentally exhausted! Please reconsider this. You cannot just shift the goalposts from 'Inauthentic Content' to movie studio copyright claims—that is completely unacceptable. Please stop pushing me into an absolute corner! My family and my children are being psychologically tortured by this! So, please. I’m asking for help. If the post came across your feed, please consider commenting, sharing, or tagging @TeamYouTube . Even a repost may help this situation reach someone willing to take a closer look. 🙏 I myself will continue doing my part for the community and help repost those on X that have been affected by this unfair demonetization. Thank you to everyone who is willing to support or has supported Mythical Arcana over the years. It truly means more than I can put into words. @TeamYouTube @YouTube @nealmohan @YouTubeCreators @UpdatesFromYT @reneritchie On the flip side. I want to say congratulations to all those who did manage to get their monetization back. I was completely left in the dust :( After I tried to contact @TeamYouTube for more than a month, I got nothing more than copy pasted bot responses. I proved everything, showed my face, my voice, my processes...still ignored. My 148k channel is basically dying right now...that is a year and a half gone, overnight. BTW my channel is verified - which means I also prove that I'm a human being, authentic and actually creating all this myself ...which is funny thing to say while looking at my channel, demonetized for being inauthentic. :) Please @TeamYouTube , can I ask you to look at my channel and review my appeal to resolve this issue? Hello @TeamYouTube My case [2-8928000040800] was closed, but the issue remains unresolved. Emails are no longer being answered. All of my videos are original, varied, and manually crafted using Adobe Illustrator. It's not repetitive/mass produced. @YouTube @YouTubeCreators

❗️❗️❗️ YOUTUBE DEMONETIZED ME FOR 113 DAYS FOR INAUTHENTIC CONTENT. MY STORY ❗️❗️❗️ (Long post. Please watch the attached video / read and share this post. Thank you in advance.) For the past 113 days, YouTube has demonetized my 160K subscriber channel for “Inauthentic Content,” and I want to tell my story because I think people need to see what’s happening right now. I’ve been VERY patient but unfortunately YouTube has not been responsive over the last few weeks, so I'm making this post... And of course I hope this could be shared enough so that someone from YouTube can see this and take another look at my channel. ⭐️Three years ago, I started a narrative-driven educational channel focused on mythology & folklore, called Mythical Arcana. What began as a passion project slowly turned into a full-time career with an incredible community of people passionate about mythology, folklore, history, storytelling, and discussion. Over the years, I’ve spent thousands of dollars and thousands of hours researching, writing, editing, creating visuals, producing narration, building thumbnails, and constantly improving the quality of my videos. On January 28th, 2026, my channel was demonetized for “Inauthentic Content.” ❌ The reason given: “mass-produced, repetitive, templated, replicable at scale.” The problem is… I genuinely do not believe that description reflects the content I create. Every video is a different topic, and addresses different themes. My writing style evolved from poetic and metaphoric to being more direct, simple and analytical. Just simply watching a few videos will show how each one is created with intention, and a unique vision in mind, different from the rest. I appealed, but was told to make changes and reapply after 90 days. No specific examples were provided. When I asked for clarification, I was told that they could not give specifics and that I as the creator know my own content best, and therefore would know how my videos violated their terms…. How can I fix something if I don’t know exactly what I did… At the time, the only thing I could think of was that I had repurposed my long form content, and created a lot of Shorts. While many people do this, I thought, maybe… I created TOO many, and it looked mass produced…? So I sucked it up, and went with my gut. 🛠 I removed every short from my channel, deleted over 25 videos, introduced more visible transformative elements like a custom 2D avatar as the host to appear throughout the video (especially during my interpretive commentary), and began creating entirely new series outside of my normal mythology deep dives. After waiting the full 90 days, I reapplied. Rejected again. So I submitted a detailed appeal video showing my entire creative process and the hours of manual work required to create a single video. In my appeal, I explicitly showed: 👉 Brainstorming, outlining, scripting, revisions, and research 👉 Adding my own interpretations and explanations 👉 3 years of Adobe Premiere project files 👉 Thumbnail creation in Photoshop 👉 Voiceover production using a custom voice I CREATED 👉Visual creation and animations 👉 How I manually write image prompts for consistent character design and to create SPECIFIC scenes 👉 Editing and pacing decisions, why and when I use certain visuals 👉 How I built my intros, outros, and chapter transitions in After Effects and Premiere I was also completely transparent about using AI tools in parts of my workflow — something YouTube explicitly allows under their policies. But the ideas, structure, interpretations, commentary, editing decisions, and final videos are all created by me. This channel is not an automated content farm. Not mass-produced. Not repetitive. Not low effort. And Not templated. It’s years of work, experimentation, creativity, storytelling, and genuine passion poured into hundreds of videos. Videos which contain details that you would NOT be able to find from any ONE singular source on the internet. Every video is different. Different topics, different focus, different characters. Scripts are always created from scratch. Visuals are never repeated, and are always created SPECIFICALLY for THAT video. Editing is ALWAYS manual… Despite all of this, my appeal was rejected AGAIN. At this point I’m not clear on what I need to do. I’m a husband and a father. I have responsibilities to my family. YouTube already withheld my January 2026 earnings, thousands of dollars, and for nearly 4 months, my channel has generated no income. This was money I worked for. Money I needed. Income my family depended on. 💼 At this point, I’m simply asking for a true individualized human review and clear communication regarding what specifically was considered “inauthentic.” Because right now, it just looks like my visuals and voiceovers are being flagged, despite them being allowed as per YouTube’s own policies. YouTube has NOT been responsive to me on X. I’ve asked for a case ID, clarification, and specifics, but I have been ignored. I’ve contacted creator support, and they said they would open an investigation and that I would receive an update through email, but I never got an answer. 🛑 ⭐️ I even asked them if AI visuals and voiceovers are allowed for monetization and they said they “COULD NOT ANSWER THAT QUESTION.” Also, take a look at the changes made in July 2025. YouTube changed repetitious content to inauthentic content, they specifically said that they are just renaming it and that nothing has changed… Which even @reneritchie clarified... IF that’s the case, then how was I accepted in YPP, given a 100k Play button reward, and how was I monetized for 2 years? What did I do wrong? 🤔 I’ve even decided to start using my own face and my own voice for the voiceovers going forward, as proof that a human DOES run this channel. I’ve asked that they please take this into consideration when reviewing my channel. My latest video and my new channel trailer are both live right now featuring my real face and voice. But is that enough? Do I need to delete all my older content? Will they come after me for using ai visuals despite showing my face and using my real voice? I don’t know. I wish it were clear. Honestly… this situation has been devastating, both mentally and physically. I can’t sleep, I have no appetite, I’ve lost over 10lbs, I’m stressed all the time, and I can’t even spend time with my family because this is all I can think about…. 💔 I know many creators are afraid to speak publicly about situations like this, but I genuinely don’t know what else to do anymore. So, please. I’m asking for help. If the post came across your feed, please consider commenting, sharing, or tagging @TeamYouTube. Even a repost may help this situation reach someone willing to take a closer look. 🙏 I myself will continue doing my part for the community and help repost those on X that have been affected by this unfair demonetization. Hey @TeamYouTube, I need a human eye here! 🚨 My 8-year-old educational channel was just demonetized. 100% Original: Years of handcrafted 2D animations, infographics, and motion graphics. The majority of my videos were created long before generative AI even existed. Newer videos only use AI as a tool to enhance my art, the core work is entirely human. Can we please get a manual review?

Dear @TeamYouTube , My channel YouTube.com/@HPad2 was demonitized for "Inauthentic Content" While I physcially go outside and record my videos, and edit them myself. I submited my appeal and video appeal on April 25th a few hours after I was demonitized. It seems to have been ignored. Now Studio is saying I missed the deadline..And have to wait 90 days. I have 224,000 subscribers and over 200 million total views. Support said it was "denied" But in studio seems to show no one even looked at my appeal. I have been ignored, Randomly banned from contacting support for 30 days for being "abusive" and "unproductive" 8 days after my last email. Which I've been nice to them to the entire time despite the stressful circumstances. I have had my channel since 2008 and for the past 10 years I have put a ton of work into my channel, I have spent well over $15,000 on products to make videos on over the years. My content is 100% authentic and even unique, I don't copy anyone and its of my own work. I have built a wonderful community of subscribers and viewers that have now started wondering why am I not making as many videos. Please can someone at Please have a real human look into my appeal and you will see my content is legit and original. Please re-post so I can get @YouTube attention Thank you, HPad (Hunter)

Some channels have been re-monetized by @TeamYouTube, and I've seen that some of them are AI channels (containing AI-generated visuals), while many other human-made channels are still demonetized. Are you one of those who are still demonetized? Share your channel below!

🚨UPDATE — almost 800 creators in just a few days🔥 We're stunned. For real. In just a few days, almost 800 people have signed up at DEMONETIZATION.ORG. And behind every number — a real creator. I quit my last job to dedicate myself fully to YouTube. I got verified and approved by YouTube. I’ve never had a strike or any prior issues. Then overnight, all my monetization was removed. A full month unpaid (~$1000), money I already invested in editors. I run a verified channel, use my own voice, and create educational biology content. Each short (40–60s) takes over 8 hours of editing/animation… and now I owe my team. My followers are asking me not to quit and to keep uploading… but this is getting out of my hands. This leaves me at a total loss. @TeamYouTube I need help and a human review, please. #YouTubePartner #YouTubeMonetization @nealmohan #inauthenticcontent #youtube #youtubedemonetization #creatorsupport #youtubecreators #contentcreator #monetization #youtubepartner #fairreview #fixyoutube #youtubepolicy #supportcreators

Break the ToS (copyright, decency, illegalities), and you get 3 strikes, 2 warnings, 2 chances to fix it. But demonetization? They demonetize you INSTANTLY. No warnings. No communication. No clear explanations. No review. Even if you have zero ToS violations & zero strikes.

The Inauthentic Content policy was introduced in July 2025. YT told creators to stay calm & there'd be "no changes". 9 months later, mass demonetization happened. They could've warned targeted creators that they needed to change in 9 months, but no. They said "calm, no changes".

It’s as if YouTube didn’t want better content or for creators to step up their game. They deliberately lured them into a trap just for the sake of punishing them.

The argument for not telling creators what to avoid because YouTube doesn’t want them to find a workaround is like making laws secret so people won't know how to avoid breaking the law. It’s ridiculous. Isn't the goal of making laws to ensure people don't break them?

Dear YouTube Partner Support Team, My name is fukustar, and I've been creating original content on YouTube for the past 3 years. I'm writing to respectfully request a human review of my channel's YouTube Partner Program suspension due to "inauthentic content" policy. My channel has never violated any YouTube policy in the past. I am a VTuber, and I create 100% of the content in my channel; I record, edit, create thumbnails, and write scripts for each of my videos. I also use my persona to interact with my viewers through livestreams multiple times every week. My most avid viewers will often acquire memberships and contribute through super chats. This makes a large portion of my income, as well as covering costs to run the channel. As a VTuber I cannot show my real face, and therefore this may be picked up by your automated tools and YouTube AI as a content farm or inauthentic content. VTuber clips and shorts may often use funny sound effects, virtual scenes, and similarly visual assets created by myself. I respectfully request that a human reviews my case again. I am sure that the automated systems flagged my channel by mistake, and I am happy to provide proof for you upon request. I kindly ask that my case is escalated to a specialized team for individualized review. Thank you for your time, and I hope we can continue a productive collaboration and partnership. @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @youtubesupport @UpdatesFromYT @YouTubeInsider

#stopstealingfromcreators #fraudtube Now it honestly makes even more sense why there’s a 90-day waiting period to reapply. Creators get demonetized, and after around 50 days, they can lose the payout for the work they’ve already done—all while being told to “improve” their channel without any clear explanation. In my case, it’s already been over 42 days since my channel was demonetized, and I still haven’t been given a proper reason for what exactly is wrong. @YouTube has no right to take away hard-earned money like this without providing a real explanation. Just saying “inauthentic content” without pointing out specific videos or giving clear details doesn’t help creators fix anything—it just leaves us stuck. We’re expected to fix our content, but how is that possible when: – No specific videos are identified – No clear violation is explained – Only a vague, repeated label is used And what makes this even worse is that ads can still run on the same videos. So the content is considered “inauthentic” for creators to earn from, but still acceptable to generate revenue? That’s where it starts to feel unfair. Creators spend time, effort, and consistency building their channels, and situations like this make it feel like that effort is being ignored. We’re not asking to break rules—we’re asking for transparency, proper communication, and fair treatment. If this is happening to more creators, it needs to be talked about. I’m the creator of the MrTie channel. It had 930,000 subscribers, and then it was banned for the same reason as Bloomation @CCountryz18217 : “spam and fraud.” But honestly, where did this reason even come from? I never posted anything with links. I never spammed anyone either. My channel was about original animations with countries my own content, my own work, my own ideas. When YouTube deleted my channel, they took away my hard-earned $7,000. That is not a small amount. It was money I earned through time, effort, and months of work. YouTube’s AI system, the one they recently launched, is working terribly. What’s notable is that after this, cases like mine started happening a lot more often. Channels are being deleted and demonetized every day, and at first glance, it really feels like nobody is properly checking what was actually on them. My friend Bloomation, who made Roblox animation videos, also had his channel removed. It has already been a month, and they still haven’t restored it. They keep saying he supposedly violated the rules, although we know this is a mistake. And the worst part? They provide no evidence. They just say, “you violated the rules.” That’s all. How are creators supposed to fight that? This feels like @TeamYouTube @Youtube complete lawlessness. We need attention. Let’s boost Bloomation’s post about his situation and hope that all of us can be pulled out of this terrible mistake.

My YouTube channel VAPORAMA VISION (170K subs) was demonetized for "mass-produced content" and my appeal was rejected, even though I create original 3D videos that take weeks and significant resources to produce. I understand the intent, @TeamYouTube, but this may be a mistake.

I'm a 2D Animation YouTuber since 2018. For almost 8 years, my record is clean: Zero strikes. Zero violations. But suddenly I got DEMONETIZED last month. Without warning, YouTube just banned one of their longest partners and took my last month's revenue worth $3,000. They subjectively accused me of "Inauthentic Content". But... ✅ I made original illustrations in Adobe Illustrator. ❌ No stock footage. ✅ Manually edited with Adobe Animate. ❌ Not mass produced. ✅ Original scripts and research. ❌ No plagiarism. ✅ Varied topics, varied formats. ❌ Not templated. ✅ Always experimenting with new formats. ❌ Not repetitive. ✅ Upload only once or twice a month. ❌ Not spam. ✅ Distinct visual identity. ❌ Not inauthentic. However, appeal rejected with 0 views. @TeamYouTube contacted me a couple of days ago but then disappeared. No solutions. No explanations. No answers. This is not fair especially for someone who has been a YPP creator for YEARS.
