We're proud and excited to announce that from Saturday 17th October, AMS will be providing a selection of our specialist #AudioDescription commentators for an exciting new service from @SkySports. And we're delighted that @hope_bradley will be getting us underway on the mic for Newcastle v Aston Villa, next weekend. Over the past few weeks, it's been a pleasure working with @SkySports, sharing our experience and discussing the specialist commentary style and approach needed to provide the best possible experience for blind and low vision football supporters. We're equally proud to be contributing some of the finest specialist Audio Description football commentators in the country to their @SkySportsPL coverage. For 20 years, AMS has worked with football clubs to deliver dedicated, in-stadium Audio Description Commentary, helping supporters experience every moment of the action through detailed, accurate and engaging descriptions. Growing our brand to 22 sporting clubs, including 9 teams in the @premierleague Now, we're delighted to see that expertise extending beyond the stadium and into the homes of football supporters across the country. This is another exciting step forward for Audio Description Commentary in football, and we wish everyone involved with the project every success as the service launches this weekend. Alongside Brad, @FitzCorry, @Robert_A_Hayes, @AlanMarch1981 and Jonathan Bell are all scheduled to bring their specialist commentary skills to Sky Sports coverage over the coming weeks. Here's to the continued growth of accessible football coverage! ⚽🎙️ #AudioDescription #Accessibility #SkySports #InclusiveSport
From this weekend, Sky Sports will offer live descriptive audio commentary and live subtitles 🔊 First up: Man Utd v Spurs on Saturday 🔴⚪

🏒🎙️ ONE YEAR ON THE ICE! This weekend marks one year since Alan March Sport launched Audio Description Commentary with the Belfast Giants – and what a year it’s been! On 27 September 2025, our newly trained team of Audio Description commentators went live for the very first time, beginning a service designed to ensure blind and low vision spectators could experience all the speed, skill, atmosphere and excitement of a Giants game night. And this one was particularly special for AMS. The Belfast Giants became the first professional ice hockey team to join our growing family of clubs, taking us into a completely new sport and helping to launch the first service of its kind in the Elite Ice Hockey League. 🏒 Twelve months later, we’re delighted to still be breaking the ice and working alongside the Giants to make live sport more accessible. Our fantastic commentators have had to learn a whole new sporting language, following the puck, describing the action at incredible speed and making sure our listeners don’t miss those crucial moments. Safe to say, they’ve absolutely smashed it out of the rink! 😏 Audio Description isn’t simply about telling somebody where the puck is. It’s about bringing the whole experience to life; the movement, the atmosphere, the physicality, the celebrations and those split-second moments that make live sport so special. Most importantly, it gives blind and low vision supporters the opportunity to enjoy the game alongside everyone else. A huge THANK YOU to everyone at the Belfast Giants and to every one of our volunteer commentators who has given their time and enthusiasm to make it work. @Japsimpson Jordan, Aaron and Jack and to their expert trainers @hope_bradley and @JonoBullard One year down and we’re only just getting warmed up! 🔥🏒 Here’s to another season of goals, saves, big hits…and hopefully keeping ourselves out of the penalty box! 😂 A packed crowd watches the action at a Belfast Giants ice hockey game, with the rink in the foreground and large “Home of the Belfast Giants” branding above the stands If you're a sports club, venue or event organiser looking to improve accessibility for blind and low vision spectators, we'd love to talk. From football and ice hockey to major international sporting events, Alan March Sport can provide the training, equipment and expertise to build and deliver your Audio Description service. 🌐 alanmarchsport.com 📧 [email protected] Who’s next? 👀🎙️ #AudioDescription #Accessibility #BelfastGiants #IceHockey #SportForAll #Inclusion #BlindAndLowVision #AlanMarchSport #SportsAccessibility

Mark Goldbridge has nailed it here 🤝 “Because they’ve got rich owners, but they cannot spend the money and they have to sell their best players every year whereas, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal don’t” PSR in a nutshell 🥜

“It’s despicable!” 😡 Ellie and Adam tell Sean Dyche exactly what they think of how United’s owners are reportedly treating some season ticket holders.

20 Seasons of Audio Description at The City Ground September marks a very special milestone at @NFFC, as the club celebrates entering the 20th season offering Audio Description Commentary (ADC) at The City Ground. #access The service was introduced during the 2007/08 season, with 14 September 2007 marking the beginning of a journey that has helped blind and low-vision supporters follow the action from their seat, alongside their family and friends. I was incredibly fortunate to be the first person to deliver the service at The City Ground. At that time, I could never have imagined that almost two decades later ADC would become such a significant part of both my life and the work of Alan March Sport Ltd. Since 2015, AMS has managed the service too, as part of our growing national network, which today sees us oversee AD Commentary at 22 clubs across the UK. But reaching 20 seasons at Forest isn't really about AMS. It's about the people who have made the service possible. Over the years, a fantastic group of volunteer commentators have given countless hours to preparing for matches, researching players, developing their skills and sitting behind a microphone in all weathers to ensure another supporter can experience every pass, tackle, shot and goal. To every current, and former, Forest Audio Description commentator: thank you! @Chris10Pricey @GrinningPoet2 Luke, @EJStockdale @FitzCorry @taylorson_ Liam, @hope_bradley ! Your commitment has helped make The City Ground a more accessible place. Don't take our word for it: I attend every Forest home game with my son. I am so grateful to Alan's audio descriptive commentary. Since developing issues with my eyes, I have used it and I can still enjoy the match. I can see but I can't make out who is who. The commentators are professional and informative! Thank you for ensuring people with sight issues can still enjoy the full match experience. Helen Brown - Season Ticket Holder We're also enormously grateful to Nottingham Forest for continuing to allow us space in the press area, to deliver the service. 19 completed seasons of provision, with not one game missed demonstrates a long-term commitment from AMS, and it's volunteers, ensuring football can be experienced by as many supporters as possible. For me personally, there will always be something special about Forest's service. I delivered the first ever commentary. 19 seasons later, AMS is still here delivering it. That's something I'm immensely proud of! Alan March - Managing Director @AlanMarch1981

Sometimes you see something and you know it’s the perfect present!! Look at @FitzCorry’s face when he popped on his reconditioned vintage @OM_English jacket! Saw it on-line 3 months ago, got it cleaned up, stitched, fixed and gave it to Steve for his 50th birthday. 🍻❤️
