Texas voted to teach every kid that israel was established in the ancestral homeland of the jews… cool but in the same document where they deleted MLK, rosa parks, and the civil rights act, etc…African Americans built this country. you don't get to write us out of its history while writing everyone else in that’s extremely backwards
JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇮🇱 Texas adopts new curriculum requiring public schools to study Israel's history.
One requirement covers the creation of the modern state of Israel in 1948 in what the standards describe as the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people.
Students are also required to read Anne Frank's diary.
