WE DID IT!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Your annual reminder that no free agent worth singing wants to play for the Magic… #FireWeltman
If re-signing Jonathan made-of-glass Isaac, and bringing back an aging Vučević are the only free agents the Magic sign this off season… I’m going to lose my mind #FireWeltman
Weltman.. WTF are you doing?!#FireWeltman
Breaking News: The #Magic are signing Jonathan Isaac to a one-year deal, a league source tells the @orlandosentinel.
Orlando is in desperate need of a point guard 🤷🏻♂️ #MakeItMagic
Trae Young plans to decline his $48.97 million player option for the 2026–27 season, sources tell @MarcJSpears.
He will become a free agent on Monday. Washington remains the front runner.
If you were Weltman, would you try and trade for Giannis or wait and see what Sweeney can do with our current team?
Bold of you to assume Weltman will actually do anything besides hire the wrong coach #FireWeltman
Here's what I suspect is likely to happen this offseason.
- new coach (obvi)
- Jett is gone
- JI waived & stretched (8mil/7yrs)
- Moe re-signed relatively cheap (6-8/yr) later via bird rights
- AB extension (~Giddey numbers, ~25 mil/yr)
- draft 2nd round targeting a C
- Goga possibly moved to clear $$ or bring in a bench vet
- Cain retained for bench depth
Options to improve the bench
- Goga trade up to 125% (~9 mil)
- up to $7 million trade exception
- TMLE $5.7
- Vet mins
Some options - Middleton, Smart (PO), Melton (PO), Gillespie, Okogie,
Oh one of his best friend came to his defense? Shocker 🙄
JB Bickerstaff on the Magic firing Jamahl Mosley
“Organizations obviously have the right to make their choices. I feel like this is a wrong choice, to be honest with you. Jamahl did a heck of a job of taking that organization and that team from lottery to playoff team, year in, year out. I don't think there's been a team whose star players have been injured more than his star players were injured. And for him to be able to hold the ship down and make it to the playoffs year in, year out says a lot about his ability to coach team, build character, develop players, and create culture and environment. So I know he'll get a job, and the next job, whatever franchise he goes to will be better off for it.”

That would be a dream come true! #MakeItMagic
