We said farewell to John Broadley today after more than 40 years of exemplary service - latterly as Protection Manager in Hull. What he doesn’t know about Business Safety isn’t worth knowing! Happy retirement John.

Doesn’t matter where you are in the world, the basics are the same CLOSE THE DOOR !
When it comes to fire safety, the message is the same in every language – CLOSE THE DOOR. See more #FDNYSmart tips at fdnysmart.org

What a fascinating yet moving programme on BBC4. “Blitz: the bombs that changed Britain.” It was all about the blitz on #Hull. My mum was a teenager at the time and told me some of the stories. Watch it on the @BBCiPlayer

#TroubleOnTheTracks @NetworkRailEUS serious lack of competence 😔 very worrying watching that the #firealarm activation could not be found, then to suggest isolating the whole of loop 3 ? It’s an addressable system with individual location text per device Staff need training !
Funniest tweet I’ve seen this year 🤣😂 @policescotland @UKDefJournal

So we have WW in our building. Residents have been advised to ‘take care when using portable heaters’ . See this heater ? Plugged in by WW! Absolute farce. @RobertJenrick @DurkanUK #BuildingSafetyCrisis #EndOurCladdingScandal

RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore, 100. A magnificent man. A national hero. In our darkest hour since WW2, he rallied Britain with his resilience, courage and optimism. Let us all heed his mantra in our own lives: ‘Tomorrow will be a good day.’ Thank you, Tom.

Replying to @ShelaghFogarty
@ShelaghFogarty I agree carers should be vaccinated, but you can’t make it mandatory or sack people for not doing so, I can’t be sacked for not having a tetanus jab, did you see how people were mis treated in the 80s regarding HIV ? Have you watched #itsasin ? Disgusting attitude

To sack someone for not having a vaccine is a form of discrimination, victimisation, bullying and harassment
Big thank you to the staff @CheshireFire control room, and CM Bangar for their assistance on a site last night 👍
Two custom BMW's that act as the medical and safety cars for @CadwellPark have been stolen. It happened at 12:15 last night - police want you to get in touch if you've seen them. lincs.police.uk/news-campaig…

Are you a creative student filmmaker looking for a project? Rather than release a standard , predictable music video, I’m looking for budding filmmakers to create visuals for tracks from my new album, Be Here When It Hurts. If you’d like to get involved, please get in touch!
