It’s the same in the Clondalkin area. Just not enough qualified professionals to be able to support children and their parents. Primary schools are already struggling with recruitment. Assessment reports give SLT and OT strategies, plus ideas for ‘emotion coaching’.

The OTs, SLTs etc in the CDNT teams are great. They can’t clone themselves though and invariably schools are expected to do more in areas in which staff are not qualified. @Education_Ire @ncseirl use the money at ground level, not to employ more managers or admin staff. #Crisis
