ALT A town in game. It's shown in a top-down view in a retro pixel style. A little paladin with sword and shield is in the center of the screen. To the southwest is an inn with four beds lined up neatly. City walls are seen to the north and west. They're the kind that have corridors inside and a tower in the corner, where a guard looks out.

The field menu is open; at the top of the screen the party's stats are shown: the medic's name is Oewyn, and the caped one, Freowyn. Both are level 7 and have 64 HP. Oewyn has no MP; Freowyn has 5 out of 17 MP. Along the left side, submenus are listed: Item, Skill, Equip, Status, Order, Options, Save, and Quit. The party's gold is shown in the top right corner: they currently have 1481 gold.
