What makes it tick? The @Ferry_Building clock has been ticking for 100+ years. The original hand-cranked clock mechanism was built in 1898 by a Boston clockmaker. It operates today w/ help from an electric motor but gets changed by hand 2x a year for Daylight Saving Time.
