i find this pretty funny
the M4 iPad Pro with 8GB RAM actually shipped with 12GB RAM, which we found out through teardowns, Apple never acknowledged it and still only let you use 8GB RAM
fast forward to 2026, Apple releases a more powerful on device Apple Intelligence model that requires a minimum of 12GB RAM, which won't run on the base model M4 iPad Pro cause it has "8GB RAM", even if the underlying hardware had 12GB RAM
make it make sense Apple
Imagine when things like this happen to accounts like yourse what is left for tiny accounts like ours ? The unilateral unfair decisions without any option to refute make no sense. X has charged me 25 for an ad I paid to defend Elon they rejected my post and never gave my money back. Another time they banned my @lifeofmaui account were I wanted to publish the growth of my dog and they just didn’t gave any explanation…
More and more companies realizing that they don’t have the operational costs overhead anymore and they don’t need to pay for expensive cloud services
In May 2025 I purchased the parts to build my local Proxmox Home Server. At the time I decided to start with 64 GB RAM. Little I knew I was soon going to regret that decision...
Below you can see how much I paid USD 189 per module now USD 2857 the same module. Please make it make sense 😥
Gosh, imagine paying 2K for a phone just to get it scratched this easily. I would have guessed Apple would have done a much better job with this one...Why dont they really implement non scratching surfaces in such an expensive product like this...should be mandatory after a certain price tag...
I would love it if it would have the same cameras as the Pro. Maybe next year, but I have the feeling Apple will take a while (2 years?) to launch a v2 of the fold...
Hi @claudeai @ClaudeDevs you are the most expensive SOTA model, and you still have these issues?
