UPDATE: Dafroza Mukarumongi Gauthier, co-founder of the Collectif des Parties Civiles pour le Rwanda (CPCR), has passed away. The organisation has worked to bring to justice people suspected of involvement in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi who fled to France.
In 2017, President #Kagame awarded Dafroza and her husband, Alain Gauthier, the Igihango National Order of Outstanding Friendship for their contribution to #Rwanda.

One challenge he left us with has stayed with me:

Thatโs the assignment. Not just to create content, but to shape perspectives, inspire belief, and tell the stories that move Africa forward.

๐Among the homegrown solutions she highlighted were Gacaca, Umuganda and community based health insurance (CBHI), which she noted has become a proof of homegrown ownership.
