Wayne @Federman says Larry David was notorious for cutting his stand-up sets short if they weren't going well.
"I'd introduce him ... and then he would shake your hand and go, 'Stay close.'"

Im performing at 2 shows this Sunday the 20th of Oct. - 5pm “New Faces” at Flappers in Burbank. And then at 7pm a benefit for Teen Cancer at Hollywood Improv.
Got to wax about Cream's Wheels of Fire on @JoshAdamMeyers 500 album podcast. Tom Dowd, Robert Johnson, Beck, Page, Hendrix... are all part of the story. Plus the Vox Clyde McCoy Wha-Wha pedal.
If I only I could retain half the knowledge about either comedy or music that @Federman has at his fingertips.
I like the variety of guests, but the @500podcast could be just @JoshAdamMeyers & Wayne Federman every week & I’d be fine. podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcas…
I’m no longer a fresh face, but luckily, I still have a face.

Been pouring through this wonderful new book. Written by a comedy nerd. It’s informative, funny, very opinionated, and deeply thoughtful. Ever ponder the difference between “getting laughs” vs. “giving laughs”? Jesse David Fox has.
Comedy Book is out today! I put my entire heart and brain into it. I hope you check it out and, if you do, I hope you enjoy it. Thank you ♥️ us.macmillan.com/books/97803…

Need a laugh or a few dozen today? @PhilRosenthal & I laugh loudly & often with our brilliantly funny friend @Federman on our latest "Lunch" podcast. I especially love Wayne's extremely fine distinction that he is "happy" but not "go-lucky."
