Incredible from Dunya Abu Taleb. First female from Saudi Arabia to qualify for an Olympic Games. Massive step for female sport in Saudi and a huge team effort from the SOTC
Behind the scenes at the World Weightlifting Championships and who should I bump into? The inimitable Sam Coffa, a past President of @CommGamesAUS. With me is the President of the Saudi Weightlifting Federation Mohammed Al Harbi, and SOTC High Performance Director, Ali Abdullah.
The Weightlifting World Championships are about to commence in Riyadh this week. Opening ceremony is tonight and looking forward to seeing our Team Saudi athletes compete again the best in the world. For now, the SOTC gym has been converted to the offical training facility.
Great day in the Kingdom to celebrate Olympic Day. Eid Mubarak!

So proud of @Kookaburras @HockeyAustralia @AUSOlympicTeam. So close to that good medal but Belgium were super tough tonight. Silver lining for this impressive team. We done Colin Batch, Anthony Potter and Rob Hammond.
