Israeli soldiers enter a home in Bethlehem, in the ISR-occupied southern West Bank, and go into the room of a woman who 's actially living there, and who hasn't been given military orders to evacuate -- and put on some of her undergarments and wore them around...

If this southern Lebanese woman, Zahraa Qubaysi, was facing the tank of an army not aligned with the US, it would have been a major cover story in all Western media. Those are their political standards in coverage.

39 children in shipwrecks this week alone
105 people involved in three shipwreck this week, 39 of them small children. Crossings towards the Greek Aegean islands have been slightly reduced, due to seasonal reduction and bad weather. Those crossing, despite bad weather, face a much higher risk of drowning. So far this week there have been three cases close to the Turkish coast, where overloaded rubber boats have sent out distress signals, miraculously nobody has drowned. On Monday night Aegean Boat Report was contacted by a group of 26 people, 8 of them children, outside Seferihisar, the boat was deflating and many had already fallen into the sea. On Thursday, 36 people, 20 of them small children, sent out a distress call, after their boat started taking in water outside Didim. The boat was heavily overloaded, the back of the boat was already under water. Friday 43 people in a rubber boats ended up in distress off the coast of Urla, the boat was taking in water and in danger of sinking, bad weather conditions and high waves in the area. If people in these boats hadn’t been able to call for help, if nobody was there to answer their call for help, many would have ended up in a wet grave this week. I big thanks to the Turkish Coast Guard, without their quick and resolute response, these cases most likely would have ended very differently. Deputy Liberal leader Sussan Ley has compared the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet to Elon Musk's efforts to build a colony on Mars "Like astronauts arriving on Mars those first settlers would be confronted with a different and strange world", she told a church service in Albury

The line for a rental inspection in Melbourne this morning. An experience completely alien to major party politicians - most of whom belong to the investor class and benefit from the current system.

These people make Trump supporters look sane.
Replying to @davidfrum
Since 1941, the US has defended democracies against aggression by predators. Trump has reversed that proud tradition - to become a predator himself who threatens democratic Denmark *with* US aggression.

Violent neo-Nazis who carry concealed weapons are planning to protest at the tennis on Invasion Day — Jacinta Allen wants to respect the “differences of opinion” with Nazis and insinuates that anti-genocide protestors are to blame!
🧵 1/15 White nationalists are a bit sad that it’s getting increasingly difficult to celebrate ‘australia’ day and despite a few racist events being promoted, this one in particular caught our attention.

Poverty up, rents up, electricity bills up, healthcare costs up, distress and misery up.
✅ Unemployment low ✅ Inflation down ✅ Wages up A year ago on Saturday we decided to give every taxpayer a tax cut, helping Australians earn more and keep more of what they earn. The progress we've made in our economy means that these tax cuts will be even bigger next year. #auspol #ausecon
