My ex-husband and I divorced three years ago after eleven years of marriage. We tried everything to save our relationship, but we kept fighting over things we couldn't seem to agree on. Eventually, we decided to go our separate ways. Thankfully, we remained friends and continued to co-parent our ten-year-old son peacefully. Last Saturday, my ex-husband brought our son home. Just as he was about to leave, he asked if we could talk. "I'm getting married again," he announced. I was surprised, but I smiled. "Congratulations! Who is the lucky woman?" Instead of answering, he brought out his phone and showed me a photograph. My mouth fell open. It was a picture of me taken on our wedding day.
