I had a course mate who loved talking. She could tell you the tiniest details of her day, but her ex always complained that she talked too much until he eventually left her. She became so used to keeping things to herself that even when something exciting happened, she would stop midway through telling someone, wondering if she was saying too much. Then she met a man who would put his phone down, look into her eyes, and say, “Tell me more, baby.” He made her feel like her words were worth listening to again. That’s love to me. ❤️🥹
