My wife is now 4 for 4 hitting deer with every vehicle she has owned since we've been married
My son worked his construction job until noon Saturday and then sent this to my dad and I. Too bad 🌽prices dipped otherwise we'd be excited to sell and shell.

Beef prices just saw their BIGGEST monthly drop since 2024! 🥩🇺🇸

Central Illinois on farm NREC research shows that cereal rye after corn before soybeans and no fall N ahead of corn reduced farm tile nitrates by 40%. Where is the worst place to store nitrogen for 6 months? In the soil over drainage tiles!
Hey grok
What is the number 1 solution that farmers in Iowa can do to reduce nitrates in water?
On Friday, I brought together farmers, doctors, water utility leaders, researchers, government officials, and parents to discuss Iowa’s water quality.
Iowa families deserve clean, safe water, and I’ll work with anyone to deliver solutions.
We had a productive conversation about reducing nitrates, strengthening farmer-led conservation efforts, and securing additional investments in water infrastructure.
There’s more work to do, and I’ll keep bringing people together to deliver real solutions for Iowa families.
