Iβd say this Crested drake, bred by Anthony Stanway, is one of the best birds Iβve ever judged.
He was named βChampion of Championsβ, beating all other livestock winners at the @Berkshire_show, and went on to be awarded Best Waterfowl at the National a couple of months later. π

An important day tomorrow as the ban on #chicken gatherings across England is lifted. Waterfowl gatherings remain banned due to the heightened risk.
As a devolved matter, gatherings have been taking place in NI for the last few months, but remain banned in Wales & Scotland.

Richard is a cracking guy! The Sussex chicken heβs holding is one of our native breeds to Britain, and named after one of our counties, alongside the Dorking (Surrey) and Orpington (formerly of Kent). β at South East, England
