I can hear myself in Kramer’s voice as I explain to my wife why I’m making oat milk creamer for her coffee:
“It’s a scam, Jerry! Big Oat Milk has you in their pocket, paying $12.99 for forty seven cents worth of oats! It’s oats and water, Jerry! Open your eyes!”
Just picked up Carrie Sun’s new book after listening to the latest @Slate Money Book Club interview from @felixsalmon. Please, keep them coming, Felix!
Love this new series and it’s already introduced me to a ton of great stories.

This @boilerroomtv see by Romy (of The xx) is pure 🔥.
Just staying up late, hosting a 1 person rave in my teeny tiny closet/office, designing some UI/UX and this is the fuel I need!!!

such a nice appreciation article by @joemuggs: deeon was “someone who finds their groove and sticks with it, regardless of fashion or fad, always 100% focused on the dancefloor” some nice words from @RP_BOO_ & @janarush312 mixmag.net/feature/rip-dj-de…
You know @therealcliffyb as the Lead Designer and face of Gears of War and Unreal Tournament. But in his life after Epic Games he has been a CEO, an angel investor, a restauranteur, a Tony-winning Broadway investor and producer, a memoirist and now, a comic book author... 🧵
And the money quote "One of the many mistakes I made with Boss Key was I was trying to make a AAA game with a tiny team. And by the time our game came out it was right in the path of the juggernaut that was Overwatch and we couldn't compete."
For these and more amazing stories about the birth of Epic, the birth of Gears and the many creative lives of modern renaissance man @therealcliffyb, do yourself a favor and listen to the full @DeconFun interview:

Like a lot of people, I'm deeply excited about what the lovely folks at Larian accomplished with Baldur's Gate 3, but I want to gently, pre-emptively push back against players taking that excitement and using it to apply criticism or a "raised standard" to RPGs going forward

Let’s hope this becomes a thing, not because I love Meta, but because I hate the constant drama of Twitter under its new ownership threads.net/@famousaspect
