People shouldn’t think wrong things that will get us killed by fascists
Only if you fire your brother and get more proactive at bringing in the DSA left
We do not get paid for the massive amount of editorial, administrative, and intellectual work required to build Geese and maintain the ONLY communist daily.
We NEED YOUR SUPPORT—if we want to keep publishing, writing, & breaking new ground.
Even 5$ helps: patreon.com/geesemagazine
You can be in both. Every communist should be in a party and DSA and not abandon DSA and concede it to the reactionaries.
The entire DSA reeks of opportunism, "win-now" mentality, and moral grandstanding.
to the many excellent and committed comrades in the DSA, leave this funnel for the democratic party and join a serious revolutionary organization.

Your own members had issues with her pretending to be a faith healer but DSA basically treats saying anything about how that is insane as a grievance. More socialists would have been more passionate about her campaign if she wasn’t like that. It’s just true.
My analysis of Tuesday night’s failure in MO-1:
“We as DSA seemed to essentially follow the old and beaten path of canvassing in South Saint Louis neighborhoods where Cori was already strong, a pattern we recognize from 2024, when she was defeated the first time. This is a manifestation of pleasure and comfort seeking. People consistently asked why STL-DSA did not endeavor to seriously canvass in Black areas of the North Side and North County, save for a couple collaborations between our Streets Organizing Committee and the campaign for brake light clinics.
Why didn’t we hit the Ville, JVL, Penrose, Fairgrounds, or O’Fallon like we did Tower Grove? Why did we not regularly do Ferguson, Florissant, Berkeley, and Dellwood? Comrades that live in North County criticized the fact that South City is inconvenient to access for them, especially via public transportation, yet a huge majority of our effort was expended in these areas that we really didn’t need to be canvassing in the first place.
This South City localism is something that comrades have routinely criticized. We need to hold events all over the area. Thankfully, we have base groups to assist with this now. Electoral campaigns must be bound closely with mass work and mutual aid, intentionally and from day one, not as an afterthought. Our chapter did not even do any work of our own in North STL before the tornado struck last May, and even with regard to that, our local PSL chapter outshone us in mass work, setting up relief efforts the day after the storm. I and others on the chapter’s Left regularly pointed this out, and, to our credit, we have been correcting this through regular political education and the excellent work of our street organizing committee, of which I am the red rabbits subcommittee lead. We must continue.
Dialectics means that everything is constantly in motion. If we can mobilize dozens of people to canvass the same neighborhoods over and over again in the city, we can mobilize dozens of people to attend demonstrations, assist with mutual aid, and canvass for non-electoral efforts. We did not hold social events, canvasses, mutual aid work, or mass work of any type in North STL, just as we had next to no organized presence in Palestinian solidarity events or encampments after October 7th. We, as a result, had no mass base in either North City or North County, areas where Cori lost heavily. In STL City proper, Cori did not win a single North City ward. These are areas that were decimated by the tornado, have been neglected monstrously by the City government, and are the poorest parts of the STL metropolitan area – in short, they are natural mass bases for socialism. It is only through neglect on our part that they remain almost untouched by DSA, and hopefully this loss sparks a sense of urgency among our comrades to join the Left in working to rectify it.”

We can say stop but unless candidates face consequences from the chapter they were endorsed by it won’t stop. Plain and simple
CPUSA members should just dual card and get in DSA- why not?

Are you going to throw obama in jail? If so, thats a logical conclusion to this. If not and you simply want US foreign policy to change to never do this again you dont need to get 170M Americans to admit they were stupid thats unrelated thats just about you feeling correct

I cannot for the life of me understand why we would, as socialists, endorse a Zionist who has undermined union-led BDS efforts while chasing Democrats for Israel endorsements who has voted in favor for IHRA definitions of antisemitism AND increases to the LAPD budget.
Endorsing Nithya Raman represents an opportunity for the development of DSA & socialism in Los Angeles. We must mobilize the membership and the grassroots progressive base against the complacent Bass leadership and create an independent yet participatory line on the mayors race. Leaving this race to its own devices cedes the terrain of narrative to liberals and ensures our voices are not heard. If you’re a DSA-LA member sign the endorsement petition below

The best strategy is to get involved in your chapter and organizing so you don’t have hours and hours to spend on here in the first place. There is work to be done. Chapters need to be turned into serious organizations

It makes you look dumb when you say stupid shit . Just admit he’s not doing all he can because of the limits of electoralism and being a chaperone of a bourgeois post.
