💡 Part 2 – As of 2 November 2026, I still think @beyond_broke is more likely to lose his public bet with @ScamDetective5 than win it. Some XRPL tools have activated since the original post, but the core pieces the reverse carry trade story needs remain far from live and usable. Here is the updated list of 8 reasons it cannot happen yet. 1. Permission delegation and batch payments are now live (activated 8–9 October). They are no longer “amendments”. The packaged settlement path has a basic foundation, but the more advanced features the theory leans on are still missing. 2. Earlier versions of these tools were still blocked by security issues. The live versions are the cleaned-up replacements. A network that only just finished rewriting key institutional features is not a finished back end. 3. Lending, vaults, confidential transfers, and dynamic tokens remain well short of the votes they need. As of today they sit around 54–60% support. Even if they reach the 80% threshold tomorrow, they still need an additional 14 days of sustained supermajority before going live. Without them the ledger cannot hold collateral, run credit lines, or hide trade details. 4. Going live is still not the same as being used. Even the tools that activated in October have not been wired into custodians or Ripple’s bank partners with compliance sign-off. That process takes months. A carry unwind does not wait. 5. Ripple still cannot flip the switch. Amendments need a validator supermajority held for two weeks; any vote drop resets the clock. That already happened with the cleanup amendment in late October, pushing its activation to 4 November. 6. XRP still cannot be clawed back. Issued tokens can be frozen by their issuer. XRP has no issuer, so stuck coins stay stuck. That remains a hard limit for any desk that needs a reversal path. 7. Most XRP still sits in Ripple escrow or company wallets, not on exchanges. Thin books make the price jumpy. They do not force banks to buy. 8. Ripple’s payment product continues to settle a large share of flow in fiat and stablecoins. A liquidity crunch still pushes people toward the deepest dollar pipes, not amendments that are only just reaching the starting line or remain in voting. Now lets have some fun: what would need to happen for Jake's theory to play out. For a big year end XRP move via the reverse carry trade, the macro picture would still need a sharp shock. That could mean a significant escalation hitting Kharg Island after 3 November (disrupting oil and forcing a liquidity scramble), plus the upcoming central bank decisions. The Fed decides on 9 December and the BOJ on 17–18 December. For the yen carry to unwind hard, the BOJ would need a clear, sizable rate hike (or a very hawkish signal), while the Fed stays firm or tightens further. If none of those catalysts produce a genuine severe unwind in the next few weeks, the window closes on the 18th, well before 31 December, the bet would effectively be decided by those dates, not the final day. I’ll post another update later in December if the remaining XRPL features go live or the setup changes. This is my personal opinion and commentary on public market talk, not a statement of fact about anyone’s character, not financial advice, and not an offer or solicitation. I am not accusing either party of fraud, misconduct, or bad faith. Names and handles are used only to identify a public bet. Either party is free to disagree. Nothing here is meant to harm a reputation or a business, and it should not be read as a claim that can be proven false in court.

💡Damn the negativity in the XRP army is at a all time high!! I dont blame them, its one hype date after another and nothing is happening. Do people feel its over?

🚨 I will be dropping Part 2 on the bet between Jake Claver and Scamz on the 2nd November from the lens of Ripple, and the actual macro data. I will also provide dates to look out for which could impact The Domino Theory positively or that will completely disprove it!! Why the 2nd, because of the mid terms and Trump's promise to hit Iran right after which could lead to mass instability in the markets!!
💡As of October 8th, Respectfully I think @beyond_broke is more likely to lose his public bet with @ScamDetective5 than win it. His side needs a huge XRP move before year end. The reverse carry trade story is the path he leans on for that, and the XRP Ledger pieces that story needs are not live yet. Here is a list of 8 reasons it cannot happen yet. I tried to keep the list concise for easier reading. 1. The bank tools are still amendments, not live rules. Permission delegation can switch on tonight at the earliest if votes hold. Batch payments are lined up for tomorrow. Until they are on and used, the packaged settlement the theory needs does not exist. 2. The first versions of those same tools were blocked after security flaws. The replacements only just reached a vote. A network that just rewrote its institutional features is not a finished back end. 3. Lending, vaults, confidential transfers, and dynamic tokens are still short of the votes they need which take additional 14 days to go live after they are voted in. Without them the ledger cannot hold collateral, run credit lines, or hide trade details. 4. Going live is not the same as being used. Custodians and Ripple’s bank partners still have to wire the new tools in and get compliance sign off. That takes months. A carry unwind does not wait. 5. Ripple cannot flip the switch. Amendments need a validator supermajority for two weeks, and a single vote drop resets the clock. That already happened in September. 6. XRP cannot be clawed back. Issued tokens can be frozen by their issuer. XRP has no issuer, so stuck coins stay stuck. That is a hard limit for any desk that needs a reversal path. 7. Most XRP sits in Ripple escrow or company wallets, not on exchanges. Thin books make the price jumpy. They do not force banks to buy. 8. Ripple’s payment product already settles a lot of flow in fiat and stablecoins. A crunch pushes people toward the deepest dollar pipe, not amendments that are only just reaching the starting line. I will post a monthly update through the end of the year. If amendments go live, get used, or the setup changes, I will weigh in and adjust this opinion. Whilst agree with Jakes Macro, just dont see the light at the end of the tunnel. Also Im happy to take any critical feedback, were all here to learn and grow to make this space better for all crypto communities. ⚡️All signs point to the Bank of Japan holding interest rates steady at 1.25% when its policy meeting concludes on Friday. Following the rate hike in September, central bank officials are expected to pause and take time to digest incoming economic data before considering their next move. Here are the key reasons driving a rate hold this week: ● Evaluating the September Hike Impact: Having just raised the policy rate to 1.25% in September, the board wants sufficient time to observe how higher borrowing costs digest through commercial lending and corporate spending channels. ● Absence of Back to Back Hikes: Historically, the Bank of Japan has avoided raising interest rates in consecutive meetings, preferring a deliberate and measured policy pace unless inflation dramatically overshoots expectations. ● Internal Board Division: Recent board deliberations showed dissenting votes from members who argued that domestic growth remains uneven and inflation is not yet running hot enough to justify rapid, consecutive tightening. ● Positioning for December: Over 80% of economists expect the bank to maintain its hawkish stance while keeping powder dry for a potential 25 basis point hike at the December meeting instead. I see the poll is showing majority feel there will be an increase, I hope I'm wrong but that data shows otherwise.

Fair warning, we packed a lot into one release (if not now, then when?). In all seriousness, I’m so incredibly proud of the entire @Ripple team. Our best year ever – approaching $900M in annualized product revenue run rate exiting 2026, with customers and partners like Standard Chartered, DBS, HSBC, Robinhood, BNY and more using our blockchain infrastructure solutions built with XRPL for a variety of use cases to move, hold, tokenize and deploy assets. Kicking off our 10th @RippleSwell with a bang. 💥
2026 marks Ripple’s best year ever. Last year, we set out to build the full stack of blockchain infrastructure, bolstered by native product growth and strategic M&A. This year, it’s all about integration, and the results speak for themselves. Now, it’s time for @RippleSwell to take center stage: on.ripple.com/48kmVP1

🚨Silence from all the influencers who promised crypto tokens would explode today on October 28th for DTCC settlement. Now watch the narrative shift overnight. What actually launched today: DTCC released its securities tokenization service for 34 traditional assets like select US Treasuries and stocks. It allows eligible institutional participants to tokenize DTC held assets for 24/7 transfer and collateral management on private ledgers. While the technology enables 24/7 near real time transfers for institutional back offices, standard US equities remain on T+1 settlement cycles. Instant T-0 is an opt-in feature for institutional workflows, not a mandate or an automatic pump for public crypto tokens. Infrastructure takes time to build, but hypelords only sell dates.

⚡️All signals point to the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates on hold today in the current 3.75% to 4.00% target range. Here is why a pause is the overwhelmingly likely outcome: □ Market Expectations are Locked In: Futures data via the CME FedWatch Tool places the probability of a rate hold at over 90%, leaving just a 10% chance of an unexpected move. □ Post-Hike Assessment: Following the 25-basis-point increase in September, policymakers want time to observe incoming CPI data and evaluate how tighter monetary conditions digest through liquidity channels before acting again. □ Pacing into Year End: Wall Street consensus, including J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs, widely expects the Fed to keep its powder dry today while positioning for a potential final 25 basis point adjustment at the December meeting. The decision will come down to tone and forward guidance from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh as markets assess overall systemic liquidity heading into the final quarter.

⚡️Tomorrow's Budget from John Healey looks pretty steady as she goes. Here's the lowdown: What's changing ♤ Bank tax going up to help fund household support ♤ State pension rises 3.9 percent and low income pensioners get a higher tax free allowance so they stay out of tax ♤ New first time buyer equity loan scheme with bigger income limits ♤ Business rates cut for pubs and high street shops plus more cash for the business bank ♤ National living wage up about 3.9 percent ♤ Extra energy bill help and the carer allowance cliff edge gets fixed What's not ♧ No rises in income tax, national insurance or VAT rates ♡ Capital gains tax rates stay the same (perfect for crypto). ◇ No big cuts to the pension tax free lump sum ♤ Corporation tax stays at 25 percent

⚡️Ripple just became a real bank. The OCC gave final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank, which means the company can now manage the reserves backing its stablecoin RLUSD, act as a trustee so holders know that money is safe, and offer regulated custody for institutions that want to hold crypto without the risk. But.... It also means Ripple operates under one federal rulebook instead of juggling dozens of state licenses. What it still can't do is plug directly into the Federal Reserve's payment system. That requires a separate master account, which is still pending. Without it, Ripple can hold and protect value but can't settle it on the fastest rails in finance. 💡The master account remains the missing piece for direct Fedwire/FedNow access and the ability to hold RLUSD reserves directly at the Federal Reserve. The charter builds the regulated vault; the master account would open the central-bank rails. Master Account Timeline: With the OCC charter now final and the Tier 3 pause lifting around year end, the next plausible window is late 2026 into the first half of 2027.

Looks like I work at a bank now 😏 (in case there were still doubts about if banks were using the XRPL 😉)
Big news heading into @RippleSwell: the @USOCC has granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank. This gives Ripple a federally supervised platform to support $RLUSD and provide digital asset custody to enterprises. We’ve always said crypto and banks work better together — this is what that looks like. Real innovation, real accountability, federal oversight. The revolution isn't happening outside the system. It's happening from within it.

💥Fuck you XRP hating motherfuckers 🖕.... This is massive for Ripple and XRP. The OCC just gave final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank. That means Ripple can now run a real federally supervised bank that holds crypto for big companies and properly backs RLUSD. This is the kind of official green light that makes banks and institutions actually take them seriously. XRP just got a lot more useful. Dont worry about the price, @Ripple is playing motherfucking chess.

💥Motherfuckers, Finally the @USOCC has put out its rulings. This is massive for crypto and stablecoins. Clear federal rules so companies can issue stablecoins backed by dollars that stay fully reserved and redeemable anytime. First real green light from a big bank regulator. They also backed off the stricter proposed crackdown on rewards, so exchanges can still offer yields without it automatically being banned. More flexibility on how reserves are managed too. Stablecoins just got a real path to go mainstream. occ.gov/news-issuances…

⚡️The SEC’s comment window on its new crypto rules for raising money closed yesterday. Those rules would give projects simpler ways to offer tokens without full registration. They might still look at late comments. A separate proposal on how funds should hold crypto is open until early December. sec.gov/rules-regulations/20…

So as everyone knows my disdain for influencers. But I do not doubt XRP or the XRPL. The only people I listen to are Ripple, and its key employees. If they indicate its almost time, then I take it seriously.
