To start the season with Xabi Alonso and end it with Jose Mourinho is a remarkable downfall of a football institution.
It has been one of the worst seasons I remember since '98, but the truly dark days are upon us fellow Madridistas.
The club let them down?
Most of the current City fans have joined the party long after it all began. You must have lived under the rock not to know what was going on.
Ironically the club let down the ones that will be fans even if they get relegated.
Everything about this tweet just points out to the fact that this account doesn’t grasp fundamentals of expected value
Happy for Barca to play their 'in-form' early this season.
Means they will fall hard in the spring. Surely. Undoubtedly. Yeah.
Spurs will go through the typical EPL ambition arc,
starting the season with football philosopher
…
ending it with tracksuit coach avoiding relegation scrap
This is the risk of taking the game, which’s week to week results are almost completely out of your control, too seriously.
Don’t let the illusion of control get to you. FPL pays off in seasons not game weeks.
“Hello Wildcarders from GW3, this is the Premier League. What would you like to happen GW4 to give you a boost?”
WC3 crowd - “Thanks for the call ummm.. firstly can you make sure all our Chelsea attackers return, secondly can we have an Arsenal cleansheet but can Raya save a penalty because otherwise he just gets 6pts, thirdly can you give Brighton an emphatic win that includes a penalty for Groß and lastly if it’s not too much trouble, can Haaland score a goal that shouldn’t really stand?
Sorry if that’s too much to ask?”
Back to the EPL for SR4! 💪
🚨 Aston Villa are in talks to sign free-agent defender Sergio Ramos and bring him back to the Premier League.
A deal with the 40-year-old is reportedly close, with the Spaniard expected to undergo a medical next week.
Ramos has been without a club since his departure from Monterrey in December 2025.
