I’m glad to see so much appreciation on here for HALLOWEEN ENDS, a film that feels like a true love letter to 1980’s John Carpenter. Bold, admittedly divisive, messy and imperfect, ENDS took the HALLOWEEN legacy in an exciting direction that felt fresh and satisfying.

Filmmaker Chuck Russell has passed away at 74. Chuck Russell directed The Blob & Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors in the 1980s, and later directed The Mask, Eraser, Bless the Child, The Scorpion King, and Witchboard (2025). A horror legacy that will never be forgotten.
