I get why people are upset, but I look at it a bit differently. As a queer player, I feel like that kind of homophobia happens regardless of who you play it isn't intrinsic to Wanda. I don't really view her as a cornerstone of the queer experience just because a lot of LGBTQ+ fans main her. I think some of the backlash toward Kingsman's video might be fueled by a pre existing dislike of him which ends up making the criticism feel a bit disproportionate to what he actually said because he was largely critiquing Wanda mains’ play style and her kit flexibility not really attacking the mains themselves.

Respectfully I don’t care how much you like the character the Wanda fan base is incredibly toxic and cannot accept that there is multiple playstyles for each hero. You do not own who can and can’t play a character. Especially if I play the character for the first time and get higher ranked than any other Wanda in 4 days. It’s telling that that’s the case.
