many years ago during my first job at the BBC, I was nearly scammed when looking for a place to live. I took it to @vicderbyshire and the team who let me investigate and report—with the help of @jim_reed !—and there have finally been consequences for these rogue letting agents.

1. I don’t often tweet about my personal life, but on 1st November, my mum Jane was hit by a large vehicle as a pedestrian in St. Louis, USA. She suffered a severe brain injury & remains in a coma in hospital.
Here's Jane & me in happier times.
we ran two films at the time, investigating non-refundable deposits, fake ads, intimidating behaviour and even illegal evictions. Afterwards, I was contacted by many other people with the same experience, so it's great to see convictions following our original investigation!
Do check out bbc.co.uk/news/business-4837… for more info - thanks again to the team for their support in seeing the story through.

"Undercover A&E review – the sheer wrongness of it all will drive you to tears....the NHS remains Britain’s primary source of pride...after watching you may wonder whether it is more fitting to describe the NHS as a source of national shame" #C4dispatches

It’s quite damning of our politics that a debate without politicians is so refreshing, respectful and gets through so much detail. I know our programme on fixing the NHS isn’t full of fireworks, but it’s telling me a lot more than a sterile argument about tax and some vague pledges. #c4nhsdebate #c4dispatches

If you're watching #C4Dispatches Undercover A & E now and shocked at what you're seeing - do watch the follow up C4 debate The NHS In Crisis - it's a politician free zone and perhaps leads to a more intelligent conversation with more illuminating answers about how to fix the NHS.

Egg freezing is booming.
I have spent time with some of the people who’ve done it, including @VickyPattison, to find out why they chose a procedure described as expensive and invasive but also empowering.
Egg freezing and Me is available on the @iplayer now.
Have you had your bike stolen? As part of a documentary looking at crime, we'd like to hear from any recent victims of bike theft or bike-jacking, and anyone with CCTV footage or user-generated content/photos which can help illustrate the volume of these incidents. DM/email me!

Rest in peace, Brianna Ghey 🤍
Brianna deserved a chance to become a beautiful adult woman, and to live to see a world where trans people are safe and respected.
Anyone in the media who is using her deadname and erasing Brianna’s identity should be ashamed of themselves.

When Daisy @rapeconception first spoke to me about discovering she born as a result of rape, she was a sole voice in the wilderness.
Today her father’s in jail & the government has announced it’s changing the law. Glad to have been a small part of this remarkable woman’s journey.
Thank you to everyone who supports this campaign. This started because a 13 year old child was not believed and so grossly let down by police and social care. Huge respect to my birth mother’s courage. @WMPolice told you I’d succeed.

The airline Privilege Style has been ignoring thousands of us about the flights to Rwanda for weeks. So today we turned up at their Majorca HQ.
