For anyone who wants to give Acceptance & Commitment Therapy a try there’s a free online course available here: phw.nhs.wales/services-and-t… This therapy fits really well for people living with LTCs like diabetes, I use it all the time in my clinical work!

Agree-Really unhelpful! I’m a T1D-have been through this, but also a researcher. We’re trying to address this as part of @ErosStudy. Heard similar things in interviews w/ T1+T2s. Will be feeding this back w/ recommendations to screening services.Small step but 🤞🏻to raise awareness
Nice to see this paper in print at last. Attendance at first screening is protective against future non attendance. Multiple house moves increases the risk of non attendance at screening @ErosStudy @DiabetesWales @JudeKayNHS @DiabetesUKCymru

Some information from the brilliant @Moorfields team here hopefully it will reassure a little if you’ve had ophthalmology appointments cancelled during Covid-19. If you notice changes do get them checked out though
We understand you may be worried about your eye health in between appointments, so we've produced resources to help you manage your condition at home. Visit our website for useful guides, & information on what to do if you feel your eye health has changed. moorfields.nhs.uk/my-eye-car…

It's fifteen years since the horrific 7/7 terrorist attacks. 52 people lost their lives and hundreds were injured in an attack that shook the country and the world. Our thoughts remain with all those affected. We continue the fight against terrorism. #LondonBombings
