It's kind of amazing that Clive Barker created one of the only iconic horror franchises that was too horny to be adapted into a Nintendo game or a children's cartoon in the '90s

One year younger and you'd be explaining to your friends how it's Capcom's fault you're a middle aged furry. Consider yourself lucky

Very winning strategy, keep up with this. What do you even know about men under 40 anyway? With that hairline on display

Maybe spiritually a boomer, but he looks GenX. Maybe even an older Millennial that's aging hard b He should know better (about the internet). He should be better (as a human being)

Reposting this in the wake of the debate of sex and nudity in horror. The desexualization of American media is a symptom of Fascism that makes it easier to police people's bodies. Anyone complaining about seeing "sex" everywhere in film/tv/games isn't living in reality.
Hellraiser is ripe for revival because we live in the most sexless media landscape ever. Clive Barker’s worlds never shied away from transgression and pushing boundaries. So anyone who thinks the new game is too extreme is a Hellraiser larper. I’m sorry to say it.

I thought it was ugly while it was being built, but up close in its finished state it's stunning

I'm about the same age as you, lived here the whole time, and I highly disagree. What neighborhood you grow up in?

I don't agree with her AI stance at all, but I know she was very involved with some anti-ICE protests in her localized world (during film fests, organizing other actors/directors with local activists) So I don't get the context of the 2nd slide but I don't think it's pro-ICE

Learning that an Order of the Triad spinoff got to the pitching stage but was then rejected was heartbreaking

I think it's because of how normalized it is for men to not put any effort into aesthetics. I'd reckon a lot of these guys have similarly gothy taste in music and movies but just buy off the rack department store clothes.
