On #PeaceDay, SADES-K Chief of Party Phyllis Engefu Ombonyo signs as a witness to a peace accord to end the #Nandi-#Kakamega border conflict. With @USAIDKenya support, SADES-K works with @NCIC_Kenya and @KASHKenya-led local partners on #peacebuilding in the region @fhi360
ALT The accord is the culmination of a rapid results initiative by that USAID SADES-K supported in partnership with NCIC after conflict erupted on the border. Tha accord mandates local peace committees trained through the initiative to resolve disputes so they do not escalate into violent conflict.
