Thank you to everyone who participated in the recent governance vote. It was a spirited debate.
I’m here to say that I have faith in Intersect to properly reflect on the will of the community. Whatever they decide, EMURGO will support their position. It’s time to come together as a community and show the world that while governance can be messy it is bigger than any single DRep including our founding entities.
Let’s come together and get to work on whatever lies ahead… whether it is 39 withdrawals or many more. This is just the beginning and we are learning together.
Let’s get back to building and supporting the projects that want to build on Cardano!

As you probably know, I’m the author of one of the proposals with 90+% Yes in the first round. For me, the "39 Individual Withdrawals" option would clearly be more beneficial - it would almost guarantee that my proposal passes. 🧵

what we need right now is the real business investors undoubtedly want to invest. This actually accurate the ecosystem. We should stick to minimise socialism. Minimise tax. Forget about free funds. Return to the basics. Just make profits and make investors happy.
Recently, I have felt that there are too many people who rely on other people's money (public money) and flock together with sloppy business plans.If your business is really worthwhile and profitable, I think you should borrow money yourself.This is a natural financial strategy for a business owner.I think it is a bit naive to think that all money is public money.Generally speaking, if borrowed money does not work effectively, you should take responsibility with your own property.I guess this kind of thing goes around because they think it is someone else's money.This is nothing but a flaw in the system.
It is utterly ridiculous to put everything to a vote at once without a rigorous audit.At the very least, they should be screened.It is highly doubtful that an ecosystem can continue to develop like this without spending a great deal of money on the people who actually support the system.
And if this is allowed to continue while political and voting power is unevenly distributed, then more and more so.
If such flaws are not recognized and a roadmap for immediate improvement is not described, there is a possibility that important issues will be put on the back burner, unimportant issues will be supported by a large number of votes, and there will be a rise in the power of the rulers with strong voting power.
We demand immediate improvement.

As part of the Interim Constitution Committee (ICC), EMURGO has cast its vote in support of enacting the Plomin hard fork governance action, which represents the second planned upgrade of the Chang hard fork.
This will enable the Cardano community to fully engage in on-chain governance of the network, including delegating their voting power to DReps for all governance actions, effectively transferring control of the network to the community, and marking the realization of Cardano’s Voltaire era.
