Well done to Tristram and all the team on our latest publication- possible new anti-coagulants for sepsis and Covid-19.
Buzzing to share my PhD work out now in @NatureComms. We've found a procoagulant type I interferon-tissue factor axis in macrophages, and the anti-inflammatory drugs DMF (clinically approved) and 4-OI are anticoagulants via inhibition of type I IFN-TF!

It is out... a complete labour of love...now we can make any type of bat cell from 3mm wing punches, non-lethally sampled and discover how bats can do all of the cool things they can do...@bat1kgenomes @BatLabUCD @VGP_GenomeArk @Sonja_Vernes @laoneill111

Dublin airport is a disaster, 2 hour waits to get through security, shops shut, toilets filthy, all US flights delayed as no one to service them..@DublinAirport, need to hire staff…

Endless queueing for the security checks, flight cancelled and replacement plane delayed… The severely understaffed Dublin Airport is really something else. One of the worst airport experiences I’ve ever had. #ACL2022

Could be a polaroid photo of a #bat, but it's just my #PCR results. The brighter the band, more #insect #DNA I have in that sample 👌 Each column corresponds to a different bat 💩 sample. Now comes the next step, what bat species are eating the cacao #pests?
