I vociferously recommend The Archive Undying by @EmmaCandon
Emotionally intelligent, trauma-informed, mysterious, and somehow humbly righteous!
This has been an exciting new read for me!

I fully adored the first DEATH IN THE MOUTH anthology and hated that the second volume has had to restart on Kickstarter and potentially lose donations!
I WANT THIS BOOK. IF YOU LIKE HORROR YOU ALSO WANT IT. please fund it with me. i will say such nice things about you.

I wrote for Scalzi's The Big Idea, so you might already know what's going on. My book is a love letter. My heart breaks we have to leave. If you have energy and resources and would like to help, our friend started a gofundme.

Oh hey and while I have your attention:
DEATH IN THE MOUTH Vol. 1 lives in a place of unsettled honor in my heart. It opened windows in my brain that I didn't know where there. It crept it through them, then dragged me back out.
I could not back Vol. 2 fast enough.
Oh hey wait something else happened today
I was interviewed by Clarkesworld! I said a lot of stuff about both THE ARCHIVE UNDYING and RONIN.
And a final bit that's somewhat of a recurring theme for me, as it's highlighted not only in TAU but in Ronin and, as well, in the Wedge story announced today.

There's no #FromaCertainPOVReturns without Wedge.
This is a story about survivor's guilt, and grief. About who we remain when those we love are gone
About duty. And what we give to others when we keep nothing for ourselves
Emma wrote a love letter to every Wedge story ever
Everyone tells Wedge Antilles that he’s lucky. But Wedge knows the truth. It’s so much worse than that. #FromaCertainPOVReturns

When I was approached for #FromACertainPOVReturns, I set myself a challenge: find a RotJ beat, however minor, whose EU elaboration wasn't graven in my brain. On rewatch I was shocked to realize how little I knew about this moment—focal, intense, weird, dense with possibility.
Reader I laughed so fucking hard
Everyone always asks what is the Sarlacc? But never, how is the Sarlacc? #FromaCertainPOVReturns

Lando Calrissian has been called many things in life. But “hero” might take some getting used to. #FromaCertainPOVReturns
@weredawgz
Voila! My Star Wars canon debut!
WEDGE ANTILLES!
I imprinted hard on the Rogue and Wraith Squadron books as a kid, and I did my damnedest to honor those stories in this one.
I hope I make you laugh. I hear you might cry. In the end...the point is that he lives. You can too.

Mused a little longer on Tumblr (where you should come join me at @emcandon bc I'm making a point of detaching from Twitter)
This story got truly SPECIAL, though. I had my initial sense of what I wanted to do, but it didn't really come together until I started collaborating with @suzusaur, my IRL Jedi and accountability buddy, who wrote none other than NORRA WEXLER.

I know I just said I won't be doing much silly stuff here anymore but I promise work announcements are the exception
and oh my GOD you guys
i can't WAIT for you to learn whose brain i got to dig around inside
