I flipping did it! 🥳🥳🥳 I achieved my last (3) years' resolution at the 11th hour! I've corralled my phone screen time to average under an hour a day! I did it by gamifying my use and it's given me my life back. Highly recommend. Highly👌 #DigitalWellbeing #PickItUpOnPurpose

All too often I get distracted when I switch on my phone A notification or a website I'd left open. Before I know it, I'm down a rabbit hole. By picking up your phone while saying you reason for doing so, in your head, you're more likely to stay focussed on your task 😃

How much time do employees spend on their phones at work? 🙈 The stats are in! #DigitalWellbeingExpert #WellbeingAtWork

Goal: 60 minutes a day 💪 Now hear me out. I know I've only shaved off 2 minutes this week but put it into context... I recorded then transcribed a 60 minute interview for my upcoming book using my phone. Those minutes count. I was stuck on a train. Delayed. For ten hours...

The Internet is Awesome! I heard this story on @BBCRadio2 today. When his friend saw his Twitter - he knew they were old pals. #HeartwarmingTechTales
#LFC The nicest thing ever happened to me last night at Anfield, my best mate from school moved to London at 16 in the 70's, he wrote me a letter but never pur his address on, we didnt have a phone then, tried to find him over the years no joy, last night he was sat next to me!

The verdict? Not the "glorious breakfast" my 15 yo was hoping for... 😔

Gah! I mean it's getting better. Damn you Black Friday! But not quite the "smashing it" as I promised my friend I was 🫣

So glad to wake up today. Had an anxiety dream that my (already wayward) dog, shrank to the size of a mouse 😱😅

Be gentle with yourself - it's the world... not you. We haven't been taught any skills to deal with this... yet.

Link in bio⤴️ When I set out to write The Body Hoax - I wanted everyone to have the tools to rationalise what has become a messed up relationship with ourselves. Do you know anyone you'd like to have that info in their heads? If so, grab 'em a copy this gift-giving season 🎁

A big part of the Screen Skills Programme for Kids is teaching 5-11 year olds the difference between the real and fake divide. The real world and and the screen world! Beyond e-safety it's more about online life skills. For the most part - ones we didn't get growing up.
