last night at the @USMNT game vs Chile! Was hoping that Jamie and Chris were going to do the play by play for the 4-2 win, but we will have to settle for a great group photo!

4k euros put it out of my price range though!
patiently waiting for the outrage from the countless DSA members, including NPC members, who spent days harassing & insulting Eric Blanc for speaking with the media about divisions within DSA. unless it's only "execrable & embarrassing" when someone not in their faction does it?
‼️Inside the DSA (w/ @GoodVibePolitik)‼️
"I think AOC is a political careerist, traditionally an opportunist, & on international issues, someone who generally has to be pressured significantly into even making minor concessions."
James Ray from Philly DSA joins Bad Faith to unpack the good, the bad, & the ugly debates going on within the Democratic Socialists of America, to distinguish the conservative reformist chapters from the genuine leftists, & explain the battle for the soul of the acronym on ever Neoliberal newscasters' tongue.

Eric did nothing wrong and there are a lot of people who I have witnessed do or support much worse in terms of public criticism of the org and its leaders over the last 9 years pretending otherwise
Okay that's enough Twitter for a while, nothing good or comradely comes from the DSA discourse on this app.✌️ – at St Louis, MO

WDM, for all its good parts, was drafted in a closed committee and then amended by the NPC through simple majority votes.
It is not realistic to expect everyone to align themselves 100% to WDM; it is not fair to chastise those who don’t when they never had a say in its makeup.

It's fine actually to disagree publicly with parts of our new national platform or approaches taken by some of our national leaders, when these hurt rather than help our ability to grow and win
We're not a democratic centralist party! And, fwiw, even the Bolsheviks allowed public criticisms!

If an elected member of the US Congress said a Jewish mayor "does not belong" as mayor because they are Jewish -- they'd be canceled for life & forced to resign.
Pittsburgh is actually a great example because if they didn't destroy their relationship with Summer Lee, they very well could have been one of the strongest chapters in the country! They had a great head start and then blew it. – at St Louis, MO

This type of passivism is so analytically damaging. Somehow everyone makes distinct tactical choices, you guys make really strong claims about the consequences of those tactical choices, and then respond to the the actual consequences by pointing to material conditions

NYC DSA is successful because it's in NYC, not because the DSA Right have a supermajority. Though they do deserve credit for the good electoral work they do, it's not like they have a monopoly on it.

this is a flagrantly revisionist explanation for why Better Together was a bad idea — it was a reunification plan almost entirely astroturfed by libertarian billionaire Rex Sinquefield that was ultimately an attempt to bankrupt the greater st. louis region
It's true, I joined @DSASocMaj because of their strong Devobcratic socialist politics. – at St Louis, MO

While Crowley and Evers have said over the last few days they have nothing to learn from Hong's campaign, it's clear Tiffany's team has.
NBC: “Can you name one issue where you disagree most with Francesca Hong?”
@DavidCCrowley: “Data centers.”
So, not abolishing the police or prisons? 🧐

St. Louis,
I love you.
Thank you to every volunteer, donor, supporter, neighbor, organizer, and community member who gave your time, energy, resources, and hope to this campaign. None of this would have been possible without you.
Our movement has always been about building something that will last: a coalition of everyday people who know that we deserve a government that puts us first. Not the ultra-wealthy. Not powerful lobbies. Not the interests that profit from the status quo.
Us. All of us.
The fight for a better St. Louis, a better Missouri, and a better country and world continues.
We’re just getting started.
