After my mom passed in 2012 we did a balloon release every year on the anniversary of her passing UNTIL we were told how bad it was for the planet and for wildlife. Now we plant something in her honor every year instead. And all I’m saying is sometimes it’s important to change traditions when you realize they have a negative impact.

98% of the deaths during BC heat dome occurred *inside.*
91% were disabled. 90% were 60+
56% lived alone.
I realize that doesn't fit with some people's narratives and slogan activism but facts matter.

My mom had to wait THREE MONTH for an EMERGENCY dental procedure. We had to buy her under the table anti-biotics from another country so she wouldn't kill herself from the pain, waiting for an EMERGENCY dental procedure. IN THE USA. SHUT THE FUCK UP. THIS COUNTRY IS SHIT.

One of my fave things in York Minster: a medieval wren stalking a spider. It reminds me that history isn't only kings and battles. Someone, centuries ago, found joy in the same things we still notice today. It's a reminder of how much we have in common over our differences.

No one gets benefits for a diagnosis. That’s literally not how PIP works. Also, an extreme minority with ADHD can claim because of the severity of their symptoms. But those 100k people, will have other disabilities.
You conveniently fail to mention that 🙄🤦🏼♀️

Cringed reading about Taylor Swift’s wedding. 1000 guests & all but 100 standing to listen to TWENTY minutes of making her vows. Just hers. D listers like Cara Delevingne arriving 3 hours early to STAND & wait with no phone, drinks or grub. AND THEN QUEUE FOR THE BUFFET! Oh my.

👇Punish the sick & disabled while giving WELFARE TAX CUTS to the SUPER WEALTHY!
MULTI BILLIONS are lost in tax every year to WELFARE TAX CUTS for the SUPER WEALTHY!
All our services, the NHS, Social Care, WELFARE etc would be fully funded if the SUPER RICH PAID THEIR SHARE!🤨
