The SEC has failed to collect $10,000,000,000 in fines and opted to stop reporting its collection data in 2019. They’ve also failed to release the real $GME FTD data despite numerous FOIA requests. If they can’t collect fines and provide real data (on either collections or FTDs) then how can investors be protected? While we know their credibility is ‘questionable’ at best — you can’t help but wonder how bad it really is behind the scenes.
