We're disappointed to see Oxford Brookes have decided to close their music programme, further reducing opportunities to study music in the UK
We urge them to reconsider these plans and as a minimum give the department more time to continue development of new music programmes

Looking forward to welcoming our new conductor @Elliot_Mercer for our first rehearsal of term next Tuesday 5th September at 7.30pm at Eastwick Road Church. New singers always welcome. No auditions.
Two great organisations who I am proud to devote more time to are the Bookham Choral Society, where I have been appointed as Musical Director, and Holy Trinity Church, Guildford, where I will be Assistant Choral Director.
While relishing the last years of teaching, I am giddy to be staying at my school in a different, part time role of Head of Co-Curricular music and delving into a bit more my own choiring, singing and whatnot…
Also using a bit more time to brush up on plenty of CPD, starting the recent brilliant Vocal Health First Aid Course from @vocaleducation. A thrilling year ahead… Bring on the freelance fun!
Absolutely loved this - bravo all for brilliant music, sublime singing and top-notch silliness… 🎶 @theoae

The most brilliant news…
Thank you @aotos for asking me to sing in this masterclass and for putting this super interesting day - learned a great deal! Can’t wait to pop along to future events 🎶
A reminder that we have two sensational days - well one actually but with 2 events within it! - and that booking is still open to attend in person either one of these.
