A great Ward 7 day celebrating community, health and our seniors! 💙
We joined Rev. Karen Curry and Rev. Dr. Kendrick Curry, at Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church for the launch of Village on the Avenue and Diabetes Awareness Day, alongside @CMWendellFelder.

Since we're all talking about schools, tomorrow the D.C. Council will vote on a ceremonial resolution recognizing 30 years of charter schools in D.C.
Recall that charters came to be because of a partnership of congressional Republicans and D.C. advocates concerned about DCPS.
Technology is changing how our children learn. Ward 7 & 8 families should have a voice in what comes next.
ElectED DC is proud to partner on this important conversation with parents, students & community members.

ElectED DC proudly endorsed Mike Austin, and so has Cora. #Ward8 deserves serious leadership. Vote Mike Austin by 7/15. 🗳️ #Ward8Votes
Today, we’re celebrating the power of community, & the right to shape our future at the ballot box.
