ALT The mandatory use of face masks or coverings in the UK to limit the spread of Covid-19 has impacted on everyday communication for many people. We would like to see if the use of smartphone or tablet applications can be used to help improve communication. The study involves comparing different suggestions and technologies intended to help communication over a two-week period. This may include using communication tactics or using a communication app on your own smartphone or tablet. You also have the option of loaning a tablet for the duration of the study. To rate the usefulness of each approach, you will be asked to complete a short 10-minute questionnaire each week for 2 weeks. If you are experiencing difficulties communicating when using a face mask or covering and would like to be a part of this study, please get in touch. This study is being conducted by Dr Saima Rajasingam & Dr Eldre Beukes at Anglia Ruskin University.
