Some progress. Made some design tradeoffs and cut down the components not needed for UX. Now just assembling left to finish, which will involve a lot of hand-stitching 😿 since I still doing have my sewing machine.

Our typical spool comes in 50m for coiling machine. (Refer to the coiling video.)This is for industrial use in building product. As for maker ed, this is scaled down.

It’s basically metal strands with LED dies that can be applied onto textiles. Yarn sounds more relevant to the textiles industry rather than to the electronics industry. (Ref: Merriam-Webster below)

It’s ok if you would like to drop the term. Also, this is stitched onto textiles without passing through the needle hole of the sewing machine. Don’t be confused. One methoed requires more manual guidance of the LED fiber. The coiling method is guided by machine.
