It is hard to believe that two years ago I wrote this piece on the front page of the @nationalpost, imploring Canadians to stand up against the growing wave of Jew hatred in our country.
Today, more than two years later, that hate has become more emboldened, more radicalized, and far too normalized through silence, complacency, and the unwillingness of too many to confront it head on.
Pandering while the fabric of our democratic society is chipped away by terror and extremism.
Hate does not disappear when ignored. It grows.
Just this week alone, posters of a missing 14-year-old girl were ripped down on the streets of Toronto. Why? Because she is Jewish. A child is missing and this is the response?
In Montreal, effigies including of a Jewish man wearing a kipah hanging at a pro-Hamas rally, a grotesque display of intimidation, hatred, and deadly bigotry. A blatant display of antisemitism.
Though not surprising when also this week, a member of parliament was openly photographed with supporters of the IRGC, who call for bloodshed in the west and the destruction of our values and collective safety.
Canada making international headlines for the hate that has infested our institutions and way of life.
This is not the Canada we should ever accept.
And I refuse to be silent.
Because this is not a Jewish issue. It is a Canadian issue. A human issue. And it is not the responsibility of our Jewish friends to fight the hatred being directed at them.
This is every Canadians fight.
So today, I implore once again for Canadians of conscience to speak out. Say enough. Demand more. And let’s stand together for a Canada we can all once again be proud to call home.

They shut down the Eaton Centre on Boxing Day to call for the slaughter of Jews.
It never ends there, folks. Look around.
I’m sure this is fine though, apparently it reflects “our values.”
This is 🇨🇦 now. No one will talk about it. Radicalized lawless mobs rule the day. Police stand by. The media doesn’t cover it. And the silence from the top tells you everything.

Don’t import your conflict to 🇨🇦.
When my parents came to 🇨🇦, they made a conscious decision to leave behind the war they fled.
The communist regime took everything from them, but they didn’t relitigate it here in 🇨🇦. They came here to start a new life of peace and opportunity.
I’ve come to expect nothing from these “leaders” @oliviachow @JustinTrudeau @fordnation I don’t recognize Canada any longer where hate protests are allowed to take place on city streets.

I haven’t been able to think of anything adequate to say about the murder of Shiri, Ariel and Kefir Bibas and Oded Lifshitz. I feel so much anger towards so many people.
First and foremost, the monstrous Islam terrorist group Hamas.
The Palestinian civilians who took the beautiful Bibas family and murdered them.
The UN who tried to make Israel the bad guy in this nightmare scenario.
The countries of Qatar, Iran, Iraq, and all Muslim leaders who either funded the terrorists or stayed silent in the face of this evil.
The American university professors and students who cheer for Hamas and for the destruction of Jews, Christians, and the west.
The Hollywood celebrities who stayed silent about the murders and rapes.
And the Hollywood celebrities that championed the actions of this murderous society.
The churches and mosques that remained silent since October 7.
All the European countries, especially Ireland, that embraced the Palestinians, whose sole purpose in life is to kill Jews.
The Palestinians brought their children out to cheer the coffins being paraded before them. And they tried to compound Israel’s grief by setting off three bus bombs in Tel Aviv during the abominable celebration. Thankfully the idiot terrorist set the timer to PM instead of AM, praise God.
And now it has been reported that the body in Shiri’s coffin is not her. The horror continues.
We can now plainly and clearly see why no country in the world is willing to take in these murderous people. Israel has tried for years to live peacefully beside them, but they thrive on hatred and death. Peace is not possible.
I don’t know what the solution is, but I do know that Israel will always be victorious.

Shame on any media outlet that can’t call this what it is, murder. Two innocent babies, their mother, and others did not simply “die”. They were kidnapped, murdered, and their bodies were held as bargaining chips by terrorists.
Anyone who doubts the brutality of Hamas, anyone who thinks these are people who can be negotiated with, look at what they did to Ariel and Kfir.
Hamas needs to be finished once and for all.

For 15 months, our friend Maureen Leshem here in Toronto held immense grace, courage and strength despite her personal pain, to keep her cousin Romi at the forefront of our collective fight to bring them all home.
Maureen has relentlessly championed her cousins freedom and has passionately worked to ensure the voice of all hostages and their families were heard. She is a warrior for justice.
Today, Romi Gonen, Emily Damari and Doron Steinbrecher are coming home after being held in the terror tunnels of hell for 471 days.
Our girls are coming home.
The days, months and years ahead will not be easy. It will take immense healing. But with the love and support that surrounds them, they will dance again.
Sending love, strength and support to their families, to all who await their loved ones and mourn together with the family and friends of all who have lost their sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers. You are not alone.
