It's National Assistive Technology Awareness Day!
Today we tip our hat to all the ways technology helps people with (and without!) disabilities work, communicate, go places and live in the community.
ALT 5 examples of assistive technology: a square button that says "push to open" with the wheelchair access symbol, a woman using a tablet to have a conversation using ASL, a woman using a grabber to get something off of a shelf, people using a communication board to assist with someone who cannot speak, an person using a Braille device connected to a computer keyboard.
