Thank you to everyone who came along to our first ever market at historic South Ealing Cemetery. The day was a huge success and we’d like to thank @EalingParks for all their help. Our next market there is on 6th June 🦊
South Ealing Cemetery's 1861 chapels are beautiful Victorian Gothic designs, but sit on the Historic England “At Risk” register needing urgent repair.
At EPF, we’re working with the community, council & partners to restore them, seeking funding to bring them back to life.

Two of Ealing’s most striking Victorian chapels will open their doors this weekend @EalingParks, with guided tours of both the buildings & wider South Ealing Cemetery giving the public a rare chance to explore a site that has been largely hidden from view.

When the #northernlights flicker across Ealing skies where is the best place in #BrentRiverPark to see them? @WarrenFarmNR is always a good bet, currently as close as you can get to a dark sky in Southall with a chance to be serenaded by owls #darksky #aurora
Despite this rainy weather parks of all sizes can be uplifting places to visit. Have you been to this ancient piece of countryside in an urban area? October Park of the Month - check it out on ealingparks.foundation

A Butterfly Emergency has been declared by @savebutterflies. Our #BrentRiverPark wildflower meadows faired better than many areas. The Big Butterfly Count walk on @WarrenFarmNR yielded 11 species, including purple hairstreak. Urban green spaces can help bbc.in/3TwlINy

This watercolour "Perivale Marshes", was painted by Hanwell artist Frederick H Coe around 1888. The Brent floodplain in Perivale was always a natural wetland, providing homes for water-loving creatures, like newts and water voles while preventing potential flooding downstream.

Bumblebees can only fly for 40 minutes between feeds. So growing just one nectar-rich plant could be the pit-stop that saves a bee. Helping bees, butterflies, moths, and other pollinators is also a great way to connect with nature!

We have a newly named park within #BrentRiverPark to explore🌿Previously a golf course, Pear Tree Park has native wildflower and grassland meadows, mown grass areas and (excitingly!) incoming wetland habitats all of which support our floodplain. Water Voles would love it here💙
