Sherry Plains (pic above Wiññie Nwagi) was one of our trainees at @EYOTAB_. Sherry Plains (real name Sharon Amuge) trained in Acting but later asked to add Music to her training, which we allowed. After graduating from our Youth Empowerment project, Sharon was recruited into Soroti’s ‘Da Peak Band,” and she later hit studio to record some songs, which have gained good airplay on the Teso radios and earned her some performances. Today there’s a poster where Sharon will share stage with the much celebrated Winnie Nwagi @FirebbyUg this December. At @EYOTAB_, we are filled with pride.

Teddy Atim, one of our Videography Graduates gets her first gig, videotaping a Marriage Ceremony. We are all beaming with joy and satisfaction. We thank @MastercardFdn for making this possible.

Our Music Participants in a group session today, belting out this beautiful song.

Quite an Emotional Day as we kicked off the Practicals at @EYOTAB23 for all Art Categories. From a young single mother who had given up on life, to a young disabled man who was always pushed away from opportunities... today they showed their talents for the first time and they couldn't hold back their tears. Even a hardened General like me had some moments of pushing back emotions. Today I have decided, I just want to change lives. That's my mission for the rest of my long life. Here's Cindy and A20. Cindy is a young struggling mum. She doesn't even have anyone to leave her baby with. She's been coming with her baby for music training. Today when she stepped on stage with a song they wrote and recorded at EYOTAB in just three days, it was just difficult to hold back emotions.

Music Leasons ongoing at EYOTAB Youth Skilling Center, in Soroti, Uganda. We chose to start from the basics so as to produce superstars with a deeper understanding of music.

Hands-On training at EYOTAB. Here is a participant getting Camera training for the very first time in her life. Thank you @MastercardFdn, @youngafricawks.
